Want to know more about the Research Festival?
Celebrate, Connect, Energise
Opened with a Welcome to Country by Uncle Warren Daley, the University’s first, campus-wide Research Festival included over 40 research related events across a week. Professor Lucy Johnston, who commenced as Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research & Enterprise in July 2022, had travelled from the west coast to present at the opening session.
The first day of the festival showcased the University’s innovative and multi-disciplinary research projects, with presentations from some of our established research networks and from transdisciplinary research teams collaborating across the University. Across the five days University of Canberra researchers and research students presented their research, competed in research pitch competitions, networked, provided tours of research facilities, hosted public lectures, celebrated the University’s research achievements, and reconnected as a research community.
Date: Monday 5 to Thursday 8 June
Venue: University of Canberra (various locations)
