New to campus? Or just need a refresher? The University of Canberra campus Buildings Directory is an important tool for students – both new and returning – to help familiarise themselves with the campus layout and facilities. You’ll find information on each building including labelled images and an overview of what each space is used for. A useful tip to keep in mind is that Level B corresponds to the ground level, while Level C represents the second level or equivalent, and so on.
This great resource outlines useful details of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bruce Campus and other locations to ensure you don’t accidentally end up lost or late to class. Plus, it’s a great way to discover what your campus has to offer.
To complement the directory, we encourage you to also refer to our campus map. This handy resource will help you visually navigate the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Bruce Campus, effortlessly locate buildings and identify the most direct routes.
Building 1 on Level B (or Concourse Level) houses several facilities that are highly useful to international students. Here, you’ll find the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Student Centre, where you can get your student card and sort out any enrolment issues.
The InclusionºÚÁϳԹÏÍø office offers confidential, tailored support for students with disabilities or ongoing health issues, helping everyone get the most out of their university experience.
For health or personal advice, the Medical and Counselling Services Centre is there for you, offering everything from health checks to mental health workshops, including weekly therapy sessions and anxiety support groups.
International students will find a welcoming hand at International Student Support Service, where the team provides personalised advice, organises social events, and helps with everything from orientation to study support.
On Level C of Building 1, you’ll find the Careers Service. Here, you can speak to a member of Career ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø for career advice, and seek help securing employment, an internship, placement or a graduate job.
The South End of Level C also houses the Multifaith Centre. This safe environment welcomes worship and practice related to all religious traditions for all students.
The University Library is where students can access books, resources and information, and is the perfect place to study while on campus. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø library facilities include book borrowing, printing, unit resources, computers and access to study rooms. Additionally, library staff provide valuable support with assignment writing and referencing, making it easier for students to excel academically.
The library is divided into three different study zones, so there’s something for everyone. Level B is a moderate noise study zone, Level C is a moderate noise study zone with bookable group study rooms, and Level D is a silent study zone.
Located below Concourse level between Building 1 and Building 8, The Hub is a space for students to grab some lunch, get together with friends or to use one of the facilities on campus. This includes a Commonwealth Bank, a post office, a hairdresser and body piercing clinic and more.
You’ll also find a theatre, an art gallery to showcase student artwork and Zierholz, a venue for live music events and entertainment.
These student accommodation complexes are conveniently located on Bruce Campus so students can quickly and easily access ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s buildings and facilities.
Cooper Lodge’s 9-storey and 5-storey buildings house 297 studios and apartments and feature a ground-floor public plaza plus an undercover area for bicycles and motorbikes. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Lodge is located next to The Library in Building 8. It’s made up of an eight-storey main building and a seven-storey annex, with a total of 353 apartments.
This on-campus hospital is a dedicated rehabilitation facility for those experiencing mental health issues or recovering from surgery, illness or injury. It houses a post-COVID recovery clinic, rehabilitation counselling and more.
Within the Hub, students have easy access to essential services that simplify campus life. The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Post Office allows students, especially those from overseas, to effortlessly send and receive parcels, keeping them connected with family and friends back home. Right next to it, you’ll find the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøX Shop which caters to all study-related needs, from stationery and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø-branded merchandise to important course materials.
Centrally located on the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Concourse, these important facilities ensure that everything from postal services to academic supplies is conveniently available in one spot.
