The Applied Health specialist major develops foundations in key areas of health including public health, psychology, health ethics and law, and Indigenous health. Students will be introduced to the concepts of health promotion and investigate the relationships between theory, behaviour and the causes, prevention and management of various health conditions as well as the contemporary issues relating to marginal populations groups. Students will develop research skills and gain career-ready skills by completing projects focused on real-world scenarios.
