The Specialist Major in Biomedical Science will provide students with foundation knowledge of the structure and function of the human body and how humans interact with, and respond to, their environment. This major delivers an integrated curriculum, progressing from the isolated genetic, cellular and molecular principles underlying human function, to understanding the major body systems and the regulation of these in maintaining human health.
