Learning outcomes
After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Differentiate quantitative and qualitative research in business research;
2. Describe the research process and research ethics involved in the business research process;
3. Conduct a literature review;
4. Select key qualitative and quantitative techniques for a variety of research contexts; and
5. Develop a research proposal and communicate the research to a specialist and non-specialist audience.

Request for assignment extension must be accompanied with relevant documentations and must be submitted to the tutor NOT the unit convenor by email BEFORE the due date. No verbal extension will be provided.
Students must achieve at least an overall 50% to contribute towards a passing grade in the unit.
Any student is NOT allowed to change allocated tutorial time after WEEK 3.

Active engagement in all online modules enhances your learning and is strongly advised. Unless specifically stated in the unit outline, there is no mandatory attendance requirement. However, you may elect to attend timetabled activities, as they allow you to ask 'real time' questions to develop your understanding for the relevant assessment tasks.
