Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Apply appropriate production methodologies in the construction and assembly of real time 3D projects;
2. Prepare 3D assets, animation and environment effects for use in real time projects;
3. Create advanced texturing, lighting and virtual camera solutions for real time environments;
4. Construct a project that demonstrates appropriate application of advanced real time environment creation techniques; and
5. Implement and describe an effective real time production pipeline.

Participation requirements
Students should endeavour to maintain at least 80% attendance for all lectures and tutorials, whether they are virtual or face-to-face. Attendance below 80% may adversely affect your ability to complete the unit at a satisfactory level.

Required IT skills
We have not set a pre-requisite for this unit, as we recognise that many students gain basic 3D skills outside of formal classes. However, this unit assumes you will have developed competencies in basic polygonal modelling techniques, and can construct basic 3D models using typical 3D construction techniques (commensurate with having completed the unit 3D animation, for example)
